CSO is an international leader in diagnostic ophthalmic instruments. Since it was born 50 years ago, the company has grown to become an undisputed leader. The company has recently enlarged its plant with new production lines and by increasing the R&D sector with new engineers and software developers. Thanks to an efficient and diffused team of co-workers and salesmen, CSO has become a strong player in the international market. CSO will lead hardware maturation and will be focused on the development, prototyping and testing the all-in-one diagnostic device based on the MS-39, a device that can capture high-definition images of the eye. CSO will also lead the supply chain consolidation and scaling-up.

Gilda is the Vice President of CSO. She joined CSO in 2000 as a quality manager expert. At today Gilda is the Quality and Regulatory manager. Gilda is also involved in R&D activities as   the responsible person for device certification process.

Francesco Versaci, Research manager

Francesco Versaci, Research manager

Francesco joined CSO in 2003 as an engineer in the R&D department of the company. He designs and produce prototypes of ophthalmological high-tech medical devices, such as corneal topographers, retinal cameras, aberrometers and OCTs. Besides, he has a deep knowledge and expertise in medical digital image analysis and machine learning application, a key skill for future neural networks analysis of the VEMoS software.

Federico Bacci, Research Engineer

Federico Bacci, Research Engineer

Federico joined CSO in 2015 as junior quality manger. Federico performs important task in R&D department as reliability study and optimization of the product.
